Ceide Housing

The house is part of the housing development of a small peri-urban cluster. With the urban parameters (area of ​​implantation, construction area, alignments and removals) pre-established, the project focused on the development of the housing concept that was exposed to us by the client: the house as a privileged space for social and leisure contact . The possibilities of spatial relationship were explored, inside the dwelling, and between the interior and the garden space, which presents a significant area. The living room, with double height, is the reference space of the house, creating an interrelation with the kitchen space, at the ground floor level, and with the intimate area, which occupies the upper floor. The latter is presented here as a space for extending the social area, with a clear visual relationship with the common room, through the double height. From a formal point of view, housing is conditioned to pre-established parameters. A set of flaps, balconies, flower beds and wall plans, and the combination of different materials, allow to give greater dynamism to the set.
